What is LDT?
Lymph drainage is a specialized technique that trained massage therapists use to stimulate the movement of lymph through the body. The lymphatic system is critical in maintaining a healthy immune system. It filters out toxins and cellular wastes,
regenerates tissues damaged by surgery, trauma or burns, drains stagnant fluids, reduces swelling and detoxifies the body. This manual technique is performed by using a sequence of gentle, wave-like strokes that follow the direction of the lymphatic vessels, enhancing the lymph flow. Benefits from receiving this work are improved sleep, reduced swelling, detoxification the body, to help alleviate sinus conditions and headaches, relief of pain and deep relaxation.
